Yah, I think it might be a sleeper. I figure I can scoop one up now, before the land rush that will occure after it becomes a proven producer. Any of you wisenhimers know where I can find one/two? Let me know...

The 1260.4 is a proven producer and is also extremely rare. There's one in the PGPGA auction. That's probably your best shot at getting one if you have the cash. Tom

last time i had a hunch this good was at the 1973 belmont race. I had $2wps bet on a horse named sham. Who would have thunk Secretariat was going to win that race by 31 lenths!! go figure. Good luck on your Quest for the 1260.

I have to agree with Tom. The 1260 has produced 4 over 1000, one of them being the 1370 Rose. It's also had 4 or 5 ( I think ) over 900. It's pretty much a proven producer. I'll be curious to find out what it goes for in the auction.

A good producer and even more a good pollinator, though some people think the male part is of less importance LOL

Great Post. Not sure if it is truly hot yet? LOL I bet you can get a good counterfeit for it for about 100 dollars. Some guy by the name of Rose seemed to use it a bunch last year for a bunch of crosses.

What are you talking about. If you are talking about me all my crosses have no 1260 weir crossesed into it other than it has it in the 1370 that i planted last year. Clinton

Clinton, I think John is talking about Jerry. He made a bunch of crosses with the 1260. How did the 1370 do for you last year?

if you can't find one, maybe consider the 699 Bosworth 2005 seed. it's the 1260 x 1370, so it is 3/4s 1260. it's going in my patch for certain this year.
