First time grower here and I had ordered some seeds from P and P seeds for big bucks (are they worth it for??) anyway 3 seeds for 10 bucks plus shipping for atlantic giants. The first seed was a mutant. The second did great but I just snapped it in 2 an hour ago transplanting it- I can't believe how fragile they are. I am ready to cry. The third and fianl seed never emerged. Does anyone know of any place I can still order from that is a little more reasonible. I know we have the seed exchange but I want to do this quickly and from a reputable source or am I already too late and should just throw in the towel already. I know they said it wouldn't be easy but didn't think I would be taken out so easily so soon. Thanks Redneck Ray Hotelray@hotmail.com

Ray, just go to the main page of this site. Click on seeds and for the price of shipping ($2) you can get as many as 8 seeds. You can do this once a month. Give it a try...

Ray...it's still not too late to start new seeds. Don't quit yet! BTW, $10 for three seeds is really pretty cheap! Some folk pay hundreds for a single seed....that dies!!!

Ray dont count out that snapped off vine to quickly. Last year we had 2 plants that, after we planted in the ground, the wind quickly snapped them off. They were literally hanging on by a thread. As an experiment we moved them to a different, less prime area, in the garden burried what was left of the held together vine just leaving the main leaf sticking out. The plant was approx. 6 inches long. On one of those plants we grew a 401 lb and 2 200 lb pumpkins and on the other one we grew a 500 lb pumpkin. Now they were not record breakers, but they still grew. GOOD LUCK If you still need some proven seeds email me I will send you some.

Hey Ray..Remember what I said about the PH problem. I did the same thing last year. They are very fragile to start. They call it hardening off time. Pumpkinpie is very generous with her offer but there are still some good seeds here. That 610 coniff is the florida state record. Take a look at the picture in the seeds section. got a great shape. Since both our patches are way to small for growing a really big one shape and color might be a better way to go. Good luck still plenty of time.
