I'm a new grower, and would like to find a 826.5 Shymanski. I'm so new, not even sure of the etiquette. I don't have any seeds to trade, but would be happy to do what is customary. Thanks for any help. Thad

Thad, If you can't find that seed from a US grower let me know and I can help you out. You need a phyto certificate (which isn't that big of a deal) to get seeds from Canada to the US but we'll work something out. Chad

Mark Shymanski is on this site from time to time and you may be able to find his email or he just might chime in here. If not, I could send you a couple of them.

Thank you everyone! I got tons of offers for this seed. Wow is all I can say about the generosity of this group! Mark did e-mail me, and will send seeds. Again, Thanks! Thad

Hmmmm, I thought the 825.5 Shymanski 96 was as rare as hens teeth but obviously not, still a lot out there then.

Pumpkin Mike, I ran out of the 825.5's long ago. But I found one and am going to plant it this year. I am feeling a little nostalgic. It will probably blow up like they usually do. :)

Ah, i see. I wrongly thought that Thad had mistaken the 5 for a 6 and did not know of the 826.5 from 2004. Thankfuly, due to the kindness of Loren & Pam Vanderschoot, i have just last week managed to obtain a 825.5 Shymanski after quite a lot of searching.

Jack Larue was nice enough to give me one of the 825's I traded him back in 1996. I am sure there are more out there somewhere.

O.K. I was thinking the same thing Mike. All these offers for a seed that old, let alone that popular. I knew it couldn't be. Understand now though. Boy, I was thinking about asking for a 723 there for a minute! AleX Noel.
