Hi Everyone! I haven't visited the website here for about 5 months since I moved from Germany to Atlanta.
I won't have a patch this year but I'd like to plant some ag seedlings with orange (801.5 or 869.5 or something similar) genetics on a few properties around my house here in Lilburn. I'd be happy with about 10 seeds or so if anyone has any to spare. Hopefully I'll have some nice pumpkins at least 100 lbs. by harvest time for the kids this year. I have no seeds whatsoever from the past anymore except for a few still stuck in Germany with my wife and kids. They should be here by harvest time.
Best regards to all! Michel White 4927 Rockhaven Dr Sw Lilburn GA 30047 grapeseek@yahoo.com

Hi Michel, I have some 05 crosses that I think could be great orange crosses. We have a 800 diffenbaugher x self cross. The 800 is a 845 Nesbitt x 846 sutras. We have a 940 mombert 2000 x a 760 patrick. I am hoping that this will be a cross that will throw the super bright orange. Both of the parents have thrown bright orange. The 940 is a 567.5 mombert x 801.5 stelts cross and the 760 patrick is a 801.5 stelts x self. We have a 609 Adams x 760 patrick also. The 609 Adams is a 735 pukos x open. My friend grew it last year and it grew a nice dark orange one. Just let me know if you want any. By the way I live in Carrollton, Ga. about 75 miles west of you. Bob Attaway lives about 30 miles from you in Flowery Branch in Hall county and Mike Nepereny lives in Hall County also. Pappy lives in Loganville, about 20 miles from you. He did not grow last year.

Hey Michel, glad to hear that you be alive. lol
If I were you, for seeds of real orange ones I would ask Steve Zulke ("steve z") or Mike Franz ("Urban Farmer").

Thanks for your replies in this thread! It makes me feel so good that you have offered me some seeds to try out this year.
I won't be going nuts this year with gardening but I will enjoy if I can watch an ag plant grow and learn a few of the trials and tribulations of gardening down here in the south.
I replied in private already to doug, and STEVE, if you can send me possibly 5 seeds or so of anything you have that you know the parentage of I would grapely appreciate it. Please just don't send anything valuable to me because I'll just be growing for the fun of it this year.
I will post pics in my diary now that I am back online and have a slightly better digital camera than previously.
Thanks again everyone!...and I'd appreciate a few basic tips for growing here in this weather such as when to start the seeds. It has been in the mid to upper 80's this past 3 days but that is about 10 to 15 degrees warmer than the average. Michel in Atlanta

Michel, E-mail me your address and I can send you a few seeds with excellent genetics, and Southern "hardiness". Welcome to the South from the old spot in Germany. Did you start a new job?
