These two seeds would fit well in my long term goal of Big Heavy, Orange, and with great ribs. Since my patches will be double or triple in size next season, they will be planted along with a host of seeds from generous growers, any help getting these would be greatly appreciated.

The 1049 Koch 02 has never had a plant from it. It was widely planted in 2003. They failed germination. I believe mine was the only one to ever get Cots. Then that was it never set a radicle root or a vine. Mine lasted until almost the 4th of July. Just sat there.

Might try the 231 Engel. It was a cloned plant off the 1049.5 Koch. It was self. Or The 454 Engel it is an 808 Beachy x 231 Engel. The 808 was a 846 Calai x 801.5 the 801.5 pollen came from the 1049 Koch. So the 454 Has alot of what you desire in it. Ohhh Did I forget to mention I like the 801.5 Genes.
