Rog most of us have put away our seeds for the season and exchanged them for a hoe. Between Easter and Labor Day very little exchanges are made.

Roc,
Shannon is correct, many people don't trade much during the growing season... they are busy tending their plants... but I say if you want them why not try and get them, regardless of what time of year it is! (i'm still looking for a 1370 rose)

Take a look at my post thats what i did this morning, and i just worked 50+ hours cutivated 5000 sqft, and offed you 2 1233 Reiss seeds. know i'm going to eat a sandwich take a nap, then go to my sons graduation. so what im saying again I-GOT-THE-SEEDS. Someone must be messing with Rog

I don't know you other than from here on BP, but if I have to drive down to North Carolina, I am going to figure out what's going on Roger. The diary posts, the antagonistic responses here, something is not right and your're worrying me. You have a son that is graduating and yet I have no one. Isn't that enough? Get with it man you are doing fine. Now grow some freakin pumpkins.

Well somebody/something got under Roger's skin and if you can't tell he is mad.

Gotta agree with him that it is why alot of HHs don't use this site anymore, and it is really a shame.

I've enjoyed the conversations I've had with Roger via email and in chats and have really enjoyed his diary and will miss his posts and diary pics.

Thanks again Roger, hope we can keep in touch/Glenn

Thanks to Roger many growers are growing or will be growing some very nice seeds.
Roger has been a plus to many growers shame to lose one of the good guys.

I dont see the big deal in asking for a seed in the growing season. If a person has it and is willing to trade then that should be up to them. If you dont have the seed just dont respond to the post, if you do then email that said person in private and allieviate the unnessary negative responses.

It all comes down to people not minding their own business. Why should anyone feel the need to comment on when someone inquires about a seed or how many they ask about? If you don't have one to give or decide not to share for whatever reason, then just keep your snide remarks to yourselves. Roger is a first rate guy who has always been helpful and a good guy to chat with. It's a shame he has to be badgered about a seed request. Feels like elementary school!

I'd trade seeds anytime of the year with RogNC. He is a very giving man who gives more then he should. Not many heartful guys around like him. He went WAY out of his way for me. But most of all, he wanted NOTHING in return......PumpkinBrat

WOW! Havn't checked the site for a while due to "farm Work" seems some punkin growin folks have too much time on their hands.... Hay Rog grow the ones you have in the patch well and you will get all the seeds you request NEXT YEAR.

Sorry if your post wasn't clear and that made a post supporting your position... and sorry if someone is pulling your chain regarding a trade... and sorry that you we're tired from lots of hoeing...
but that is no excuse to start calling people names ... It's just Plain Rude... and shouldn't be allowed. Just because it is the internet and you don't personally know the people doesn't give you the excuse to act like childish jerk. YOU and people like you, are the reason why many fine growers have left BP!

Roger,

Well said. The girls didn't give me a chance to send a THANK YOU last night. Thank you for sending the seed. You have always been very helpful to me and I appreciate your help. Besides myself your alway one of the first growers to offer seeds and advise to new growers. And I know that won't change.

your all right in my book.
