I and my husband are just starting our adventure into what we hope will be becomming future heavy hitters. I have been doing some homework reading through the diaries, and have in the past attended our Gonvick, MN October fest Pumpkin weigh-offs. I have since relocated to Anchorage Alaska where I was reminded this year at our State Fair that big ones can be grown anywhere by the skilled with a lot of luck and the right seed. If anyone out there has seeds to share, I would be very interested in building a collection of seeds.

I had the pleasure of seeing that one in person. It is an impressve achievement. JD's grower diary shows how talented and skilled he is.

There was another posting to my message and they said they had seed but when I clicked on the little envelope it dissapeared and now it doesn't show when I look at the message board. Who they were I don't know :( and I don't know how to get the message back. Wow I sound incredibly stupid. Does anyone know who it was and how I reach them??

Jade, hang out, and come fall time...after 'kins are harvested, and seeds are dried...tons of incredible offers of incredible seeds will appear...go now and buy bubble envelopes and stamps and more seeds than you could grow in a lifetime will be yours for a "polite request"!!!!
