In that case, you don't need to be focusing so much of your attention on trades. What you need is some compost.

Shoot Jordan, those seeds have awesome potential! Give some a try and relax a bit. Happy soil and your shadow over it are the keys to sucess in this hobby.

I like that... Happy soil and your shadow over it. Well put!
Being new I bought my seeds online, the seeds I see being traded and even given away make me jealous and eager for next year. Hope you get some good trades, but even if you don't, you have a strong bench to choose from.

I know some of the growers get upset with Jordan in chat when he bothers some of the better growers for seeds all the time. But I'd rather see a young kid of jordan's age interested in growing than other things that are bad for kids..A few years ago I wonder if growers thought Tom b. , Nic w or Casey n where annoying just a thought... mark

Jordan, those are some nice seeds that you currently have. I'd have to agree that you should give the seeds you have a chance to grow rather than "shooting for the moon" with your seed trade dreams/wishes.

What did you grow this year from all those plants you had? I some some pretty huge blades of grass in your patch but not alot of huge pumpkins...did you have a good growing year?

I wouldn't trade my porsche for a VW van so don't expect ground breaking trades.

I would rather have a kid be overly excited about pumpkin seeds than a ton of other stuff in the world. If it bothers you that he keeps asking for seeds, don't respond on the same thread, it's that simple. It's a seed thread, not a grumble thread lol.

Jordon was asking for seeds on a diffrent thread and I offered Jordon my 2006 seeds and asked him to email me if he was interested. Jordon was interested alright, He emailed me and gave me his address and told ME to send them to him.LOL. ummm is something wrong with this picture when you are the one asking for seeds? LOL (I Know hes young but thought it was funny)

Jordon i was young like you a couple years back and i was doing the same thing you are doing right now. I have learned it is not always how good the seed is it is how you grow it. If you ask anyone here it could be out of a 125 pound pumpkin and grow a 1100 pounder and yes i saw 2 grown this year. So just keep the seeds you have and grow them and then if you are moving their is no sence on having top seeds to put in the ground you have to work up you soil and get all your planes straight. You will learn from your misstakes and that is the truth i do ot do so well this year because i grew under 3inches of water all year and i still endeed up with a 324 pounder. clinton
