For an exhibition fruit you can always try Krylon.

Wiz, sure I have a 861 but keep in mind the cross was 950x731 stucker and the 731 was bright orange. The offspring haven't been white so far. Keep looking for a true 950 is my suggestion.

yeah, the cross was 950 x 731. I know of four people who have grown my 861 seed, 3 of the pumpkins went a nice medium smooth skinned orange, and one went pure beautiful white:) Go figure!

the seed never really got a good run unfortunately. Ben in arizona grew a 200 plus lber with soil issues, my friend in san diego grew a 300 plus lber (again soil issues), another friend grew it and had 480 lbs on day 41 and she blew (on pace to blow away his personal best), another friend who never grew before grew an unknown sized fruit in Yuma in the middle of the summer!!!!! lol, a great accomplishment the plant even grew there in 100 to 120 degree heat.

in Yuma, no misting system or shade cloth was used, pretty amazing.

lol !! Yuma is on the arizona/california border just above mexican border. The middle of the hottest desert you can imagine in the summer! lol. I remember being there as a kid because my mom is from there, it was July and 118 degrees. I went outside for 1 minute and it felt like death heheheh. Anyway, the guy who planted it there is a farmer who floods his land to water it irrigation style, said it was a beautiful round white pumpkin. I asked how big? He said, not sure, but it is about as big as I can put my arms around it. So I'm guessing 150 to 200 lbs. I said, you grew that thing in the summer????? lol man, poor plant.

I grew all kinds of 950.4 Boyton (845 Bobier x self) seeds last year for my main objective of heat tolerance. The 575 Gerry (950 Boyton x 767 Catapano was creme colored like the 950. My 861 Fredricks (950 Boyton x 731 Stucker)I grew ended up with a real nice orange color. It was 157 pounds(861 x 440 George). The 950 Boyton is more of a cream color. As far as big and white goes the 1036 Perez (600.5 Gregory x 950.4 Boyton) is one of the best seeds. I grew about 4 different seeds with 1036 genetics in them. 1036 Perez, 716 Makarchuck (658 Emmons X 568 Perez), 437 C. Rose (1036 Perez x 1370 Rose), 568 Perez (658 Emmons x 950.4 Boyton). All were white. I ended up with these genetic crosses. 120.5 (437 C. Rose x 568 Perez), 34 (1036 Perez and self), 20 (716 Makarchuck x self). As far as heat tolerance goes the 950 Boyton, 861 Fredricks, 440 George (950.4 Boyton x 736 Garrell), and 1036 Perez loved the 110 plus temps I had last year. With my 157 (861 Fredricks x 440 George) theoreticly it should love the heat and be real orange. The 861 seems to throw bigger fruits of the 950 Boyton offspring, while The 440 George hands down has to be the most heat tolerant plants if not the most ever. My 157 has the longest line of 950.4 Boyton genetics and had been grown in 110 degree plus heat for the most generations of any seed that I know of. Unfortantly unless I end up with 21 Beachy or a 125 wolf type success nobody wants to try my seeds! I guess I should have had Bosworth pimp out my seeds for me. lol
