Third year grower looking for seeds with proven track record. Tried of growing any old seed one can get from a seed outlet. Just a waste of time. Sorry, but nothing to trade. E-mail me with what you got and what you want for them. Thanks great site, with tons of information!

Simply ask for what you are seeking, if you dont know, after 3 years i think you do, and you want to grow a monster, i'll be happy to share some proven seeds, but there is alot more to it, than just a great seed, sorry for being blunt! The offer is free to you, and you are aware that the greatest proven seeds were once offerd at seed outlets. (Seed outlets) not E-bay take one for instance, the 845 bobier 3 for $5 bucks,If my memory is correct, Howard or Danny Dill would have to confirm and of coarse others, so Drop me a e-mail, and i'll see if i have anything your looking for. NIGHT OWL.

Well then, if I have my choice, I would really like 1236 Eaton 846 Calai 1230 daletas 1083 frantz 1225.4 jutras 1068 wallace 1420 larue 1260 weir 1370 rose 1469 checkon
But something tells me , they will be hard to find. I do know there is alot of work to growing AG. But if you are going to do it..... DO it right! Start with good seeds! Any seeds I get from an outlet, do not state who grew them, they just say Atlantic Giant 700 lbs.

Keep your eyes on pumpkinpost.com you never know what seeds will be hot in the following years and you can get them very inexspensively there. Also P&P seeds and the Dills website are all good places to get quality seed at affordable rates. John

Derlan, When you state "seed outlet" are you referring to generic Dill's Atlantic giant seed, with no specified mother X father cross? If so, you can get free seeds from growers on this site, with known parents, just by sending a SASBP. Many growers advertise them here, around this time of year. I also agree with Roger and John's suggestions.

Derlan, imho, doing it right has to start with the soil, there are prbly thousands of seeds available for the price of a bubblie and postage that can grow a monster (1 K # ) plus and possibly a new record. The next thing needed is tons of work. Stick around this site, check out seed exch board, and watch the auctions. Peace, Wayne PS I would guess that D14 sort of nailed your problem. Also, for $20 or less, some of the growers clubs will send ya a ton o great seeds!!!

Never realized I had a problem! All I simplily asked was where one could get some good proven seeds. Instead of using the ones I can get around here in northern Manitoba. Usually from p&p, not knowing who the parents are! I was just hopeing someone would say, Hey I have some of so and so's seeds if you are interested. I bought at the auction last year, can't make it this year. Got my bubblies ready, where do I send them, too?

That makes us now wonder, and i to have stired things up, here, and there dont make the mistakes i did, my offer is still good, and most of the growers on here can give you the geneolgy on all of there seeds there giving away for free. I got some of the top seeds today from the growers on this site, and they were very kind. And hey Van Hook weres my seeds lol.

yeah, email Roger R
and avoid all this freakin' flack.
lol---unfortunately, if i have not yet planted a proven seed i cannot donate it because then i myself will not have had the chance to plant that seed. i have SERIOUS seeds/crosses of my own from over the years '01-'06, but none have YET been planted by world-renowned growers, unfortunately.
i would be happy to round up a half-dozen of these seeds, probably 5 of each one, and throw them into your bubbly. if you WANT to, email me for my address---eric

Derlan, if my post about doing it right, led you to think that I thought you "had a problem", I am sorry you thought that. I don't have any of the seeds on your list to send you, but do have some good (if not great) genetic background seeds that I will put in a bubblie for ya if ya want. Email me for an addy. (Click on little orange envelope next to my name). Best of luck. Peace, Wayne PS...most folks arent going to post addys on the board...send an email, and most will send you their addy privately.

Peace,Wayne. Thank you apology accepted. Yes I did, I thought you were jumping on my back like Roger R did.
Others on this site, are asking for good seeds and people e-mail them, saying I got some, e-mail me back. I do it, and holy shit, Roger R has to lecture me, about not asking for what I want and there is more to it than good seeds.
All I said was I don't want to grow seeds from the seed outlet that I was getting my seeds from before. You get your seeds, but you don't know anything about the seeds, who there parents are. I would like to know, just like everyone else on here, keeping track.
Now others feel they must join the band wagon and run me down. And now Roger R wants to know why I am not e-mailing him. No thanks.
Again thanks Peace Wayne, I will e-mail you back.

Rog, I thought James was TUG OF THE YEAR??? LOL Peace, Wayne PS...I think derlan needs a seconds chance to figure this all out. I don't think he meant to be rude, just didn't know how to respond to get seeds. "Can't we all just get along"!!!! I, at first didnt know either...that clicking on the little envelope by you nickname, got you a direct email connection!!!!!!!!! Duh, live and learn. Thanks again, and Peace,Wayne
