I don´t know if there are seeds that grow in more ore less space but I think you should learn the lesson about pruning vines.

I have a 606 Eaton that grew in 250 square feet, about the smallest I've heard for a pumpkin over 600lbs. It's free to you if you'd like to grow it.

Did you see the post just before this one..."If your interested"? 900# plus in 250 sq. ft. Sounds like it fits the bill. Peace, Wayne

Growing big fruit in a small area isn't really a trait that's been selected by many growers, is it? I imagine that most growers have more than 250 sqft. So, I'm guessing that it's not something that they would have tested over enough generations to say that it is part of a family of seeds.

With my small patch, I wish that something like that existed. But, I doubt that it does. I think that all healthy AG seeds will tend to grow bigger than 250 sqft. So, lots of pruning would be in order anyway. Unless you're planning on spending the next 50 years creating a line of small area plants that grow big fruit, you're probably just better off focussing on pruning.

Ok i now this is maybe a dumb question how do you prune the plant? I was thinikng when side vines come out and if a side vine starts making another vine snip that off quickley. So does and one have any more ideas.
