Dear Growers
My 2006 seeds are now ready. Unfortunately, my 1093.5 had only 67 seeds, so I'm keeping 20 seeds & only giving the rest out to growers who will grow it this year for sure. My other seeds are 957 Hunt (839 Hunt x 842 Eaton) & 739.5 Hunt (988 Joynson x 1068 Wallace). The 839 Hunt is (842 x 1097.5 Beachy) & the 988 Joynson is a 1370 Rose x self). I also have seeds from our 194.4# & 148# watermelons. Email me before you send a BP.
I'm in Canada so send a SEBP + $4 to cover postage. US stamps are no good in Canada, so please don't put US stamps on the return bubbler. I get about 5-6 a year like that. I'm sorry about the high postage costs, but I don't make the rates up. That's Canada Post's job of ripping us off with their high rates for sending a BP out-of-the-country. That's another story though. Email me if your interested. Take care.

Phil, any pictures of the 739.5? How orange is it?

Marc It wasn't very orange. There's a picture of it on the GVGO's photo gallery. Look at the cornerstone weigh off. It had a lot of cream & other colours. My 1011 Hunt from last year is throwing real nice orange pumpkins. I grew one to 630#, but donated it for pumpkin drop. They never recovered any seeds from it. Oh well, I still have some 1011's.

OK, I found it... helps if you search 1011 and not 1101...LOL!

Sorry, Pete. I only visit the site once a day. The 1011 Hunt was a 842 x 1420 Larue. It produces real nice orange pumpkins or at least mine did. Take care.
