Just thought I would give this a shot with all the crazy trading going on, I live in Maine and can harvest all the seaweed and kelp I want. If anyone would be willing to trade a pumpkin seed or seeds for say 50lbs-100lbs or more send me a e-mail. Seeds I am interested in would be

998pukos,1231pukos,500wallace,695handy,869calai,603muller,670daigle,1370 rose,1450 or 1502 wallace. E-mail me at cbishop@suscom-maine.net if interested. thanks.

Do you need a permit to harvest the seaweed and kelp in your area? We certainly do and are very hard to obtain. In certain areas you are not even allowed to harvest the seaweed and kelp that has been washed ashore.

Better check local regulations before going ahead.

Here locally, the kelp and seaweed beds are very ecologically sensitive as there are many marine mammals that call that area home including seals, sea lions, otters, sea mink and a whole other assortment of thier prey.

Been doing it for years for my compost, the stuff we have here grows so fast you could not even tell anything was ever trimmed in a month. Its the same thing you would buy from the north American kelp company.
