Pap proposed a shee sharing method, but have growers ever swapped male flowers?, If they were harvested just after opening and put in an airtight bag(vacuumbag)would they survive a trip via mail? Maybey its been done, i dont know, but if this works no seed would be unatainable. And many more crosses could be made.

Not sure how long pollen retains it's effectiveness. I guess there could be a timing issue between when the desired female is ready to pollinate and when you get the shipment of pollen. If it will work it sounds like an awesome idea though!

Perhaps a good experiment would be to collect some pollen form several male flowers of the same plant. Dry it and seal in an airtight container with possible some type of drying agent like silica or maybe even rice. You could then either send it to a friend to use, or open the container after the amount of time has passed which it would have taken to be delivered and pollenate your female with it. Good idea, worth a shot.

Ready to open, next day male flowers are great if picked and same day or Fed-Ex courier delivered.
Might have to get Chad to send me some 670 or 1016 flowers for next year!!
