I've accumulated more seeds over the years than I could ever plant, so I've sorted through them & found about 50 seed packets that need a new home. These are not the hot seeds that everyone is seeking, but most have those hot seeds in their parantage. I'm sure many of them have the potential to do very well. For a list of the seeds, please send me an email at: rdhoffman@wyoming.com I will then send you the list of available seeds along with my mailing address. You can then reply back to me which seeds you are interested in and I will put your name on them. Then send me a SASBE(Self Addressed Stamped Bubble Envelope) to my mailing address and I'll send the requested seeds to you.
I also had a good seed count on 4 of my 2006 pumpkins, so feel free to request some of them as well. 833 Hoffman 06 (998 Werner 04 x 344 Hoffman 05) Wyoming state record 815 Hoffman 06 (344 Hoffman 05 x 998 Werner 04) almost Wyoming state record lol! 649 Hoffman 06 (427 Stellern 05 x 998 Werner 04) Gnarly huge lobes on this one 497 Hoffman 06 (497 Hoffman 03 x 427 Stellern 05) Very few seeds in this one 435 Hoffman 06 (518 Orchard 98 x 497 Hoffman 03) Good chance of orange
The 344 Hoffman 05 is (1432 Carlson-Petersen 04 x 898 Knauss 01) The 427 Stellern 05 is a selfed 1180 Daletas The 518 Orchard 98 is a selfed 567.5 Mombert 92

Ron, I am a new grower to AG this year and I am striving for a more orange pumpkin. Where can I send you a bubble pack for the 435 Hoffman and the 427 Stellern? Thanks Mike

I think if the 344 Hoffman is planted in a climate conducive to growing a garden, it would produce a 1300+ pound pumpkin.
The 898 pollinator of the 344 went 22% over the chart. When I checked to see where that put this particular 898 in the rankings of 898 offspring, I found it is the third largest percent over the chart for 898 offspring.
The heaviest 898 offspring is the 753 Pappas, at 32% over. The second heaviest is the 1156 Larson at 22.2%. Ron's was 22%. The 770 Larson is fourth, at 21.8% over the chart.
