I have only been a member since the end of the last growing season and I have already learned a lot from this site. I have also found a lot of members who were more than happy to send me a few seeds and share their knowledge. I am trying to build up some type of seed collection so I have options in deciding what to grow and cross. I have never crossed a pumpkin before, only open pollination and I have been making progress. I refer to myself as an amatuer because I have gone from a 357 my first year from a hardware store dill to 560, 420, 360 in 06' from my own seed. There are several major things I am going to change that I hope will reap huge benefits this year. 2007 will be my 3rd year growing and I am shooting for the 1000lb mark, I know some members on here can do that in their sleep because they have done it multiple times already but this is my goal. Once I hit the I will of course shoot higher. My point is, one of the few seeds I have with good known genetics and progeny is the 1097.5 Beachy I won in the GVGO raffle. I would like to cross this with a number of different seeds. I of course intend to share as many of my seeds as I can on here next winter.
I am also interested in growing a squash this year.

If anyone has any extra seeds with some known genetics or untested ones (but have high hopes)that they cannot plant this year I would love the chance to plant them. Whether it is a bubble, seed, or something else you are looking to get for it, please let me know.
Thanks - Chad scdaddy7269@comcast.net
