Cool site, Ken! I'm just gonna wander around a bit, if you don't mind. Kinda make myself at home.
Looks like a good effort, so far.

Thanks, my partner and I have put a lot of time into the infrastructure of this site. We have some great new things coming for next season too!

Hi Ken, I will be writing for a few free seeds for a 13 year old who has no computer and contacted me asking how to get started.
How will this board b different from the Mallorn site?

Hi Big John, We still have plenty of seeds so go ahead and send your request in. The message board on our site is designed to help support the rest of the site. The Mallorn list is a great resource for reaching many top growers with questions but its one main list. The message board topics on this site can be defined by the users. If other users are not interested in a particular topic they don't have to see the message traffic. So I guess you could think of it more targeted discussion.

Hi Duff, I found a couple of web sites you can check for heating cables by searching the Mallorn archives. Try www.henryfields.com or www.gurneys.com. I think you will have to call because the sites don't have much on them. You can get to the Mallorn archives from www.mallorn.com/lists/pumpkins. To subscribe I believe you just send an email to majordomo@mallorn.com with SUBSCRIBE PUMPKINS in the body of the message.

ken, thank you for the sources for heating cables (gurney's and henryfield's) awaiting their catalogs now. also got hooked up w/the mallorn list, lots of info there. you have no doubt heard of the PGPGA.com site by now, but if not, be sure to check it out. a question for anyone...what's the "cec" of the soil mean ? any need to be concerned w/this number here in new england ? thank you, duff.
