Yup, Ask Ole Dan, rookie of the year, 125 Wolf grew him a 1175.5. And after seeing that cull one could see why!

I'm just using the 1000,100 as a example, I have a few pumpkin plants that look like they might not be that big, but they did (the seeds) come from large pumpkins.

fog, you should post some pictures of your patch. I'd like to see how your crop is doing with the area you have to work with. I'll be looking for your diary enteries! Just takes a digi camera and some keystrokes!

I have a small patch, probably would'nt get the o'k from the professionals here, I have 3 plants in a 10 by 10 area. We do own a digital camera, we just have'nt figured out, or mastered how to put them on the computer.

FOG! You are allowed to have a diary here for free! I wouldn't worry about how your patch is viewed in the eyes of folks here. You and I are city people and we do what we can with what we have. I find smaller more strategically pruned patches more interesting because with little room you have to be really creative. I would like to see what some people here would do or what prescription drugs they would be on if they were allowed only 100-300 sq ft. ha!

....and if you get any pumpkins your way flowering, stop by the night before, I have more than enough Foss 1,213 flowers we could cut the night before your girls open. As long as you have a vase or cup handy, those males are eye candy for the females in the morning!

I might just let mother nature pollinate my plants, thats what bill foss said when I bought some of his seeds this year, just let the bees, I'm just wondering what happens if the bee's don't pollinate is, or insects?

if you dont get any bee's or other things to pollinate then you do not get a viable fruit, it is hard to imagine that you have no bee's, it you have bees around they will take care of it for you
