The first person to post the closest guess to my 2007 pumpkins actual weight wins a group of Mombert seeds (2003 - 1024, 755, 2004 - 838, 889, 1025 and 1215) Two of these are either 723 Bobier or 845 Bobier X 898 Knauss crosses.

STATS:
Seed - 460 Clark (1180 Daletas X 845 Bobier) X 1085 Boor (1370 Rose X self)
Measurments - 120-76-77 = 273"
Estimated weight - 434 pounds

BACKGROUND:
460 Clark has one listed offspring, and it came in at 28% over the chart. Last year for this contest, I grew a 721 Larson (695 Handy X 898 Knauss) and it came in 17% under the chart. That should give you a range to shoot from.

A photo of the pumpkin from several weeks ago can be found in my diary, last updated around Sept. 2nd. My 9 year old dropped our fancy camera into the dog's water dish last week, so no current photo's are posted.

Our weigh-off is Saturday afternoon, Sept. 29th. I'll post the results as soon as possible Saturday evening.

***Bonus Note - So we are all rooting the same direction, if my pumpkin happens to break 500 pounds (it would need to be about 15% over the estimated weight to reach 500), I'll throw in a 1446.5 Werner AND 1347 Wallace seed in addition to the others mentioned above.

Only about four people have guessed a weight under the 434 estimated weight. Remember, my pumpkin came in 17% light last year. If that kind of bad luck strikes again this year, this pumpkin would come in at about 360 pounds!
