The 898 and 846 are highly prized seeds and, if there are any left, will surely be auctioned or grown by the owner.

Best thing to do is ask growers if they would care to help a new person out and send seeds. All you will need to do is send a self-addressed, stamped bubble pack.

Yep, it'll be very hard for you to find those seeds! But you don't need the "top notch" genetics to grow a nice pumpkin. The best way to get good seeds is to send bubble packs (self addressed and stamped) to growers that are willing to share seeds with you. So you pay the postage and send a bubble envelope, and they will send the pack back to you with seeds (you don't pay for the actual seeds). There's lots of growers willing to share!

Also, I saw in your other post that you are 10 years old. I suggest that you don't post your address on the internet, it's not safe! There's lots of weird people online that may want to harm you. Luckily, on this website, I don't think there's people like that. But be careful! It's a good idea to ask your parents first if you need to put your address online (maybe you did ask them, but I thought I'd remind you to be safe anyways).

Brigitte, great advise to a young grower! Hopefully many of the other young growers here will read your info and heed it.

And yes this young man has definitely done some impressive research on seeds!

Baum, if you want email me at mfowler@hsc.edu I can't give you what you are asking for but I can send you some good genetics that can grow big.

Very hard seeds to get..Youd probally have to pay a good bit for all the seeds your after. But there are plenty of great growers on this site that will part with some good seeds. Hows your soil because it doesnt matter what seed you plant if your soils no good then your chances are no good. Good luck

Baum,

Just be kind and pollite to people and they will surly help you out. As has been said before those seeds are near impossible to find. I recomend you send SABE to as many people as you can. Email the people first and introduce yourself to them. Give them a little background info. Most people will give you seeds after such a message.

Grow'em big
