My seeds are ready if anyone would like to grow for color/shape. All plants in my patch were from great orange producers. My one pumpkin is a 1074 Calai X self and a 423 Gerhardt X open which comes from the 603 Muller line. Seed count was not great so please only request what your interested in. Contact me at cocey2002@yahoo.com.

I grow more for looks than anything else. I just display them and have little ambition to compete at weighoffs. Looking at the 6 seeds I planted this year none would be on any HH's radar as far as weight goes. That is why my post is directed more to the growers that want a pumpkin that has good color and shape. There are a ton of better choices if your only goal is weight. With that said my 1074 was very solid and IMO would been around the estimated weight.

Jeff,
I'm looking to grow a large orange round pumpkin. Do you have any seed left? I don't care how much it weighs. 2008 will be my first attempt. If I can go 200 pounds I'll be thrilled. The ones pictured are beautiful.
Can you spare a few?
