I'm guessing you may be able to buy some later this year. The will probably run at least $100 per seed, probably more, but you never can tell. You can get seeds that have the potential to grow a world class fruit for a couple bucks, the cost of postage and a padded envelope. You could also check out:
www.howarddill.com
He is one of the guys that started this hobby, he sells great seeds at a very reasonable cost and he is also in Nova Scotia, Windsor I believe is the town.
Also keep in mind that the 1689 Jutras World Record fruit was grown on a seed from a 998 lb pumpkin.

I believe people focus too much on getting seeds from the biggest pumpkin instead of the seeds that grew the pumpkin. But you should be able to get a hold of some during seed auctions this winter just keep checking when the auctions are gonna be.

Ah like my mentor told me years ago "you don't want seeds from the World Record...you want the seed that grew the world record"

But it is easier and cheaper to get the seed from the 1689 instead of the 998.

demaih-look for crosses made this year out of 06's biggest pumpkins. Those are likely to be the next great seeds.the seeds out of this years 1600 pounders(1662 was seedless) arent the way to go.
