Try a 1081 Leonzi Brooks. Same cross as the 1068, should yield same results. A lot easier to come by as well.

I want the Golden Ticket Andy,, I have had a 1068 Wallace growing in my patch ever since that seed first came out. One of the first seeds I have ever planted when I first started growing Giant pumpkins. It wont be the same with out one next year , its going to be a lonely year next year without one . This is the main reason why I self ed the 1068 Wallace because I knew it would be a almost impossible task to find one. I'm crying as I type this, its like I'm losing part of the family,,,,,,,LOL!

Brooks,
If you can't find a 1068 Wallace, you may also want to consider an 1127 Glasier (2005). Pete made the same cross as the 1068 also. Good luck with your search!

Brooks, get ahold of a 1068 Papez and pretend. Just always refer to it as the 1068.

hi brooks,I'd recommend a 992.5 glasier. thats been a better seed than the 1127g(different 845 bobier plant).pete had a super 898 knauss plant that went into that seed. Its were(in my opinion) the horsepower came from to grow his 1535.5

the glasiers have grown two in the mid 1100's and jim martin had a mid 1100 that was the pollinator of his 1092 seed.

Grow a 1068 Papez and if you grow the largest you will win a 1068 Wallace so you can plant one in 2009. All you have to do is send a bubble.

lol Vic!! You got that right its a poor mans 1068,thats why Im looking for a rich mans 1068 Wallace to grow,(not that Im rich ether!,Ha!), Nothing I have ever grown, well, besides the 805 Pukos has grown like a 1068 plant has for me, its like growing a totally diffrent type AG plant. I hope all these 1068 Wallace crosses out there carry this over, because growing a 1068 is sure a fun plant to grow espically when that pumpkin starts putting on the pounds.
