I know! It seems simple, and I love to share my seeds but, I have been working on a struggling business for the past three years with no income and I just can't afford to keep covering postage.
How To: send a self addressed stamped bubble envelope.
Materials needed: Pen Pad of paper bubble envelope paper envelope which is large enough to receive the bubble envelope stamps
Before sending the envelope this is a great thread on Seed Swapping Etiquette
The pad is used to write a brief note thanking the person you are requesting or trading seeds with.
The correct address's are then placed on the bubble envelope. Keep in mind that this bubble will be sent back to you so the addresses need to reflect that. Put the persons name you are requesting the seed from in the "From:" area of the bubble and your address in the "TO:" area. Once the bubble is filled it will be sent back to you. The idea here is to make your request as trouble free as possible for the generous grower you are requesting seed from. DON'T forget to put enough postage on your bubble. From my experience, cost to ship the same size bubble can differ from post office to post office but you are usually safe using $1.30 in postage. It is always a good idea to check with your local post office since postal rates are constantly changing.
The correct addresses are then placed on the larger envelope "From: YOU",, "TO: Seed Donor". The bubble is then placed into the larger envelope and the larger envelope is sealed, postage is applied and your bubble is ready to send. Hopefully within a couple of weeks that bubble will return with the seeds which were requested.
Thank You and GOOD LUCK!!

If someone sends you a bubble for returning to them without enough postage you don't have to add the needed postage. There are couple options.
You can just tell the clerk to send it postage due.
Or you can just drop it in one of the big blue collection boxes, usually in front of the PO or around town. Just make sure the return address is the same as the person you're sending it too. If their address is in both the too and from locations the PO has no choice but to send it to them. It may show up to them postage due or they may get it without having postage due.
