Anyone have a 500 Northrup or similar.I would like to start growing this year and want a nice orange one to get me started.

The 1101 Northrup and the 500 Northrup are both excellent seeds that throw orange fruit. However, the prices at the auctions may deter you.

In addition to growers offering their orange crosses, you may want to check out seedoutlet.com and howarddill.com. There is actually a 646 Northrup that is (1101 Northrup X 500 Northrup) grown by Dawn Northrup for sale on the Dill's site. 3 seeds for $7.00. I saw a photo of the pumpkin and it is very orange.
