You watch. Someone will grow a record pumpkin with that 1068 Papez. If that happens, BP.com will become the "eat Brooks alive" website.

Brooks, please, please grow the 1068 Papez. If you get a 1068 Wallace this year great, but if you grow the 1068 Papez and win, we won't have to go through this next year. So I'm begging you, do the right thing man, grow the 1068 Papez, win the 1068 Wallace and bring peace to the pumpkin growing community. P.S- did you consider a 1081 Leonzi? lol good luck

Serious for a second, does anyone have a 1068 Wallace and are they going to plant it? Or are there even any in existence anymore?

giantpumpkindude; The torment will be even worse when the next big one is grown off of the 1402.5. LOL
1081 Leonzi has the same genetic make up as the 1068 Wallace. I would'nt know why it would'nt have just as much of a chance at throwing the monsters that the 1068 Wallace has, other than the fact that it hasn't been grown as much or by the caliber of grower that the 1068 has. the color and shape even greatly resemble that of the 1068
Of course, If I had my chance to grow the 1068 Wallace I'd jump all over it, so the offers to grow one can just come rolling in now. Until that happens I have stocked up on the 1081 Leonzi. :)

Or maybe the 1402.5 Bosworth. Some growers do quite well with their own seeds. And it went way over the estimate.
