Hi - My wife and I are the coordinators of the community garden at Stanford's family housing. We'd like to devote a little of our real estate to growing a giant pumpkin or two to generate some excitement for gardening. We've tried seeds from the big commercial seed shops with little success, so perhaps the experts can be of help? If anyone is willing to donate a few giant pumpkin seeds to our efforts, it would be greatly appreciated.
Please reply to garbo.hermit@gmail.com.
Thanks very much for your consideration.

Also scroll up and down this here message post, for the last two months growers have been offering free seeds for the price of sending them 2 bubble envelopes with postage. Make sure you come back to this site, it is tops for pumpkin growing, and the site search in the top right corner of the page has a answer to almost everything. "Good Luck"

GCDan, send me a snail mail addy, and I will send you a few seeds!!! (wsmpeace@aol.com) you need approx. 400-800 sq ft per plant to do the GIANTS justice!!! However, some giants have been grown in small spaces...best of luck!!! PS...look thru seed exchange board on this site, and you will find lots of generous AG growers offering seeds for the price of a couple bubble envelopes and postage!!! Hope this helps, and you grow a giant!!!!!!! Peace, Wayne
