Hi, I have no seeds for you but, if you don't mind me saying, you can scroll down for the last 2 months on this seed exchange message post and people are offering free seeds. Just 2 messages down from this hear posting you just posted is someone offering free seeds. when the time comes, you send a bubble envelope stamped with a bubble envelope inside stamped made out to you. (might sound confusing but its not)

Philip,

Welcome to the madness. buckle up it's going to be a wild ride. Thers are a few very good seed companys owned by folks in the madness, seedoutlet.com, and Howard Dill to name a few. They have very nice selection of seeds at a very good price. seedoutlet.com price is $1.95 per seed, you can't beat that price. Good luck this year.

Check out GiantPumpkinsOnline.com for some heavy hitter crosses with the 998.6 Pukos. That seed grew the world record pumpkin at the Topsfield Fair this year.

this persons name is ruined in the giant pumpkin growing community
much like the idiot that tried filling his pumpkin with water at a wpc weigh-off many years ago.
both will never be heard from again- thank god
all the more reason why its not good to trade or purchase seeds from unknown people
i realize what the goal was. use joes picture to make people think they were getting a particular seed. then send them some old crap seed that no one would want
we growers are to sharp for that.

For what it's worth I reported this item to e-bay, that it was being misrepresented by an unethical seller. Don't know what will come out of it but maybe this wart won't sell any more seeds.

Howard is ill right now and Joe probably won't reply. A public apology is also called for here.

Wish I would have noticed this sooner. I had to pay 72cents to receive his bubble and then more to send the return bubble. Kevin

Whoa! Hey I may not be smart but I am not crooked. I ordered 50 seeds from HIRT GARDENS for $9.99 and they are listed as Dill Alantic Giant ! I did not try to sell any seed other than some this seed from a seed company, because the more I learned the more I realized that I knew nothing about the genetics. Many of you have been very nice to me and a few sent me seed. I appreciate that! I am not trying to pull anything! I was and am niave and I made some mistakes but I did not try to defraud anyone. I am sorry my lack of knowledge caused this problem. A little understanding would be nice. I can't say that this was my first mistake and I know it won't be my last. Any of you who wish to address me I am wellingtonphil@yahoo.com and even if you don't believe me send me a email and I will send you a copy of the invoice for the Alantic Giants I purchased from Hirt's Gardens. Those of you who are being nasty are misinformed! Kevin I have received no seeds from you! Lisa Evans you have hurt me the most. I do not know what to say! Pap...I was showing them what an alantic giant looked like and not that the seeds were from that Alantic Giant but then you in your wisdom claim that you know what my goal was. Shame on you! Shame on you all! Not many have studied harder than I am studying. I am so excited about growing Giant Pumpkins this year I can hardly sleep. Right now I have a pumkin growing in my bedroom knowing that it will never see the garden but trying to learn all I can learn from growing it! And by the way it was bought at a local garden center 10 Alantic Giant seeds for a dollar! Yes I have asked for seed and I am not ashamed that I did. I want to grow a Giant Pumpkin! I have already spent money on Gardening books, organic products, fertilizers and have built up my soil to ready for spring. I am trying to do the Pumpkin Raising properly and you are misinformed as to what I did are what my intentions were. Anything else contact me at wellingtonphil@yahoo.com

Give me a break. Now you are the victim and we should feel badly for you.. You misrepresented yourself by showing a blurred photo of Joe Jutras with his 1689 pounder on your E-Bay ad with no disclaimer. You could have showed any one of hundreds of AG photos but you chose that one. Now you are a beginner asking for help but in your ad you say-"You can grow a Giant Punkin with these excellent genetic seeds. If you want advice let me know and I will give the winning bid several areas to help!" unquote. If you want to ever be accepted in the pumpkin growing community, come clean, show some humility and take responsibility for what you did. Other people on this site have made mistakes ( none as big as this ) but took responsibility and did the right thing.

Phil, I understand you didn't know or intend for this to happen but no one should be apologizing except for you. Lisa did nothing but try and help you out. She said nothing to attack you, you just keep making it harder for yourself the more you argue about it. The seeds you purchased were 20 cents each big deal, use them to practice with or somthing. Write a appology letter on here and be done with it.
