Two questions:
1)Does anyone have any of the seeds that produced the 71 and 55 Rahe? I would be very interested in growing these.
2) What are the genetics of the 71 and 55 Rahe seeds? The seeds that grew them were the result of a cross between an AG and Cinderella, but what are the genetics of the seeds inside these pumpkins?
Much thanks.

Ron pollinated them with an AG. so the seeds within are cinderella x AG. the 71 was polinated with a 878 Wilson. the 55 was polinated with the 1238 Brunst.

OK. Thank you. So if I have seeds I bought online from the 71 or 55 Rahe, are they 50% or 25% genetically Cinderella?

take a look at my last years diary, I grew both, they are fun to grow. I grew the 55 Rahe to bright orange 183 Lbs and crossed it with a 748 Pukos, it had a real nice rounder shape to it. I also grew the 71 Rahe, and this seed grew me more of a Cinderella shaped pumpkin.

Thanks Vader and Brooks! I guess I choose right in buying 71 seeds. I want to grow a big, but more cinderella-like pummpkin.

Here is a pic of the 2 pumpkins i got from the 71 Rahe plant i grew last year. http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=76242 I dumped some manure out on the grass and pretty much let it grow.

Thank you Mr. Rahe. The fruit look amazing. I ordered 2 seeds from seedoutlet, and it should be fun growing them. As for just pouring manure on the grass, I like the idea.
