I have a very nice cross of 1048 Companion X 123 Reiss from last year. It won the Howard Dill award for beauty at the Elmira NY weigh off. My diary has a pic of it, the 579. It will definitely throw nice and orange. Plenty of seeds still left.

I still have seeds from my 689.5 from 2003; It was the 869.5 Calai x self and it has been proven to throw out bright orange pumpkins. Email me if you are interested.

I grew Ned's 689 a few years back and it as orange as you can get. As if the 689 needed any more orange genes, I crossed the 689 with the 731 Stucker (selfed 801 Stelts).
A few friends have grown my cross and it made nice orange round pumpkins. I still have lots of seeds left if interested.
