I've been trying to find a contact for Geneva Emmons inorder to buy some seed from her 1262 pumpkin, # is not in directory assistance. Anyone with any info, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Ren.

Geneva has distributed all she had to give out. She said at Sauvies Island that she didn't have nearly enough for all the requests last winter. She's worried too that some of them may have been bad....nothing inside, even though they seemed to be OK after removing them from the fruit last year. I know some a couple of the clubs around the country received seeds from it and they may be available in the spring when they have their fundraising auctions. Keep your eyes and ears open and have the checkbook handy, I don't think they'll be cheap.

Keep in mind that Geneva turned down $12,000 so she could be assured that you and I would get seed from her National Champion Pumpkin! Even then, there were not enough seeds to fill the several hundred requests. Even as one of her friends and fellow PNWGPG member, I only received one seed!
