I've had some plan on growing a gaint pumkin, or three this year, but i don't have seeds. I'd really like to get some seeds that have a possiblity for a 1000lb.+ (not that I'm expecting such sucsess my first time.) I'd be happy to pay. I'm new to this forum, but I'll be around a lot.

a suggestion
next year start a couple months earlier in your search for giant pumpkin seeds.

most growers on the east coast that are shooting for 1,000 or over are already in the ground ( or waiting out the cooler weather in a big pot)

we may have a couple backup plants available in around ten days. will post here if available and you can have a couple plants if you pick them up in rhode island

Thanks Pap, that would be wounderfull!
But I'm still interested in getting some good seeds for this year (even though it's to late to grow a really big one) I'd like do a lot of experimenting with things like hydroponics, artificial light, grafting and CO2 enrichment in makeshift greenhouses (not that I have much space). I guess i could do most of the experiments with regular little pumpkin seeds from the local garden shop, but that just doesn't seem as exiting.

Rob T, Thank you for the offer! But I beleve that there are some seeds in the mail from another memeber already!
So i don't need seeds any more, But pap I'd still love to take an extra plant off your hands
