To all you new growers that are growing next year.Most growers on this sight are willing to give seeds free of charge. The only thing you have to do is email them and ask them. How do you get there email address do you ask? just click on there name next to there post or next to there grower diary. When they reply the will give you there address and ask you to send a self addressed stamped bubble pack. The cost of the stamps is normall 55 cents each way if they live in the US. If you are contacting a grower from canada the cost is normally 78 cents to get it there and send them a dollar for postage.
Big pumpkins also supplies seeds in there seed section.
If nothing else send me an email I have alot of seeds and I'm always willing to share. Mark:}

Is there any problem shipping seeds across the Canadian and U.S. border? I have several bubble packs bought and all I have to do now is get them pre stamped and mail them out. There are a couple of Canadian growers who I am sending packs to...and was just wondering if getting seeds across the border is off limits. Also will chilling in the mail boxes hurt them?

I've not had a problem with seeds from Canada. Just remember, DO NOT put postage on your return bubble pack (It needs Canadian postage). Send a buck or two for postage as Mark suggested. Also, with the postage rate increase, it is now 60 Cents to mail a bubble pack in the US, and 85 Cents to Canada. --Bruiser

Hey Guys,

Went and got bubble pack envelopes to self address and larger envelopes to mail them in. put the two together and brought them into the postoffice to get postage for the two. After a little debate and and some measuring by the US postal service they lined it up with little outlines and told me that together they would be 37 cents...I said fine now what about the postage of the bubble pack return envelope and they looked at me as if I was getting a little weird...said the dimensions of the package were okay for 37 cent mailing back to me...if it fit inside the other letter..not wanting anyone to go postal I said okay and bought the stamps? Did I buy the wrong stuff or did they price it wrong? I don't know gonna try it and see what happens...

Bruiser is dead on with the cost for in country and to Canada. Just sent some out 6X10 bubble packs and 9X12 envelopes. 60 cents in country both ways,and 85 cents to Canada. I'm told it cost them about a buck 60 to get it back to you from Canada, so throw a couple bucks in for their postage.You can buy 60 cent stamps at the postoffice.

I went to the post office today and here's what I found out :
1.) a "000"(4"x7") bbpk with two no.1 coin envelopes containing two seeds each put into a 6x9 clasp envelope is 49 cents.
2.) a "000"(4x7) bbpk with 6 coin envelopes with 2-3 seeds in each all inside a 6x9 clasp envelope is 60 cents.
3.) Canadian postage back to here would be an american dollar or two.

So I went back to the post office today to mail out the envelope with the bubblepack...Went to the same guy who did all the measuring the day before...I had the 37 cent stamp on and he said.......you need 23 cents more postage!!!! Yikes!!!luckily I had doubled stamped the bp inside!
Thought something was wrong.
