You're Welcome...

I forgot to mention that most of the seeds that you can get here will have pictures of the pumpkin in the growers diary..

I grew a 392.5 lber that was very nice orange and a nice round shape. Wasn't the biggest at the weighoff, but had many complaments on the color and shape. Someone even offered me $80 for it! It was grown on the 845 Nesbitt and pollinated with the 922.5 Emmons. Both were VERY orange, see my diary for pics. Haven't opened it yet but if it has viable seeds your welcome to have some. Mike

Also....I have some Big Max seeds from my 2001 139.8. It grew a 120 this yr. Perfect carving pumpkins. Ill have some pics in shortly. The 120 (est) this yr was pollinated with the 922.5 Emmons and gave me 500 seeds from it. Once again youd be welcome to the 139.8 Big Max seeds or the 120 Big Max X 922.5 Emmons Cross seeds. Both Should be VERY orange and Perfect shape. Drop me an e-mail if this is what you are looking for. Mike

Trying,

Look up kilrpumkins in the photo gallery. I like nice orange pumpkins too! If you see anything you like, I can hook you up with seeds!

p.s. Seeds aren't the only factor! Build that soil up with as much leaves, organic matter, and manure now for next year. And be sure to get a soil test in early spring!

Kilrpumpkin,
Thanks for your advice, Im going to start preparing my ground with leaves and organic matter and manure for next year to get my patch ready and I will look at your photo gallery to see your pumpkins. I will email you soon to see when youll have some seeds ready.I have room for three different plants so maybe I can get one bigger than 218 next year.

Hi:
Several of you have talked about leaves. Should they be schreaded very small? I don't have a schreder so I thought of picking them up with my lawn tractor & bagger. Think this would be OK?

of course, I assume they don't have to be shredded, it just speeds the process of breaking the leaves down...
