no for real the air force grew one that weight 8,000 lbs. It was in a newspaper(Decatur,Ala.). In the newspaper it said something about Bob Barker was supose to buy the shiping frait on it.I have the picture but don't have any way of posting it. Thanks, Freddie Holland

Probably 8000 ounces. Slightly larger than the 8000 gram pumpkins I usually grow.

The 8000 lb pumpkin can be found in the classified section between the 2000 lb tomato and the 400 foot carrot.

I found it in Decatur Daily newspaper , Decatur Alabama it was print in 2005 . On the side of the paper it said it was carved by Kevien Tengesdal of Bismark, N.D.

I'm sorry it is a miss understanding about the 8,000 lbs. pumpkin I had someone else to read the article and they said it wasn't talking about the pumpkin on the page it was talking about a 8,000 lb. elephant that Bob Barker had bought. It was on the same page and only called it a beast so I thought It was talking about the pumpkin on that page.
