I got a huge field I plan on growing a couple of giant pumpkins on next year...And was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to hook me up with some solid genetics?

I think I got the love it takes to grow one of these beasts! Look out Elk Grove Harvest Festival 09'...Cus i'm coming in HOT..lol..hopefully..lol

You have come to the right place. Problem now is every one is busy tending there pumpkins. Some of the growers who offered free seeds this fall might still have some, you can find them by srolling back on the seed exchange postings. Also you might consider joining a club, some are listed on the links on the main menue. I personely am thinking of joining (2nd year grower) southern new england pumpkin growers ass for 20 dollars. I know they have top genetic seeds there. Good Luck

Paul, you have lots of time to learn which genetics it is that you're interested in. In the fall, October through the end of November mostly, there will be tons of seeds available for the price of postage and an envelope right here in this forum. There have been lots of seeds given away on this forum that have gone over 1000 lbs.
