If you find someone to send you the 1662 Young, you better hold onto it. It would be pretty amazing since Don didn't find any seeds in it. lol

1450 low seed count = very hard to get. 1662= no seeds available 1068= nr 1 seed in the world for years, impossible to get. 1502= world class seed, many over 1k, hard to get 1446= world class seed, many over 1k, hard to get
Nick, without trying to mock you, it might be wise to aim a bit lower when it comes to seeds. Your going in to your second season, and theres a ton of seeds out there with tremendous potential that just need to be planted. In the end its your soil and your skill as a grower that determine the endresult, not the seed. Maybe crosses with these very seeds are more realistic then the actual seeds themselfs.

True cooks. You are correct, but I am a firm believer in always making an attempt. I do not feel mocked. No problem there. You know the old cliche "You don't know until you try". As for Tango! Smelt a little mockery from across the pond. I even know the 998 is impossible to find now.

Nick Don't take it to heart, I was only pulling your leg a little. BTW have you looked at the 1068 Papez, it was a 1068 selfed.

Not taken to heart. Since you actually responded, I now know you were only joking. I have not looked into the 1068 Papez. Do you know any growers that have that seed. I have plenty of property to turn into a pumpkin patch. I will plant all it takes to grow a whopper. If I have to buy more property, I will!!! I am hooked on Giant Pumpkins. As for buying more property, my wife might have a little something to say about that, but I'll smooth her over eventually!
