I am a beginner and i was given some melon seeds they should weigh in at 189 lbs is that possible and also is there a compatition for them

The seeds probably came from a 189 lber. Yes, alot of the pumpkin weigh-offs also weigh giant watermelons.

Dilligaf, melons that size are more than possible...251#er weighed in KY. this year, and larger than that from Michigan!!! Sorta shows that a large melon can be grown up North!!! LOL The number on yer seeds, prbly shows the weight of the melon the seeds came out of. Peace, Wayne
