I recently joined the southern New England Pumpkin growers Ass.I was at the weighoff at Freriches Farm in Warren R.I. I have yet to hear from them on any upcomeing events.I really want to get some good seed and want to be a part of this sport. Does anyone have any info. I gave them the application fee of 25.00.

Relax, Kenny, the SNGPG are great guys and they'll get you to rights...

There's lots of big hitters in that club and also on this board that have seed they'll share. It's a long time between now and spring... heh.

I got you. I love this sport I only got a 400 pound pumpkin. I have little space but I'm amending the soil and doing the right thing. I just added some gypsum. and plenty of cow crap.

thanks Frank, The show was a great one. I only wish I could have been part of it rather than sitting on the sideline. I would have entered my pumpkin however it was slightly damaged. I used the Hollands 1289. It was a good seed. I really want to take an e role active role in the club. I think they do an awesome job. Maybe next year I'll be able to enter my hog in the weigh off. Also I;m a bagpiper and the pipes would have been a good addition to the festivities. I look forward to being part of the club and contributing in some way.
