Hi,
Just finished my 1st true year of pumpkin growing and now planning for next years. I attended my first weigh-in at Mere Brow (Lancashire,UK) last weekend which made me realise i need some seed with good genetics behind it. I'd love to improve on this years efforts. Previously, I've only grown AG from the shop and am looking to source something with a little more potential.
If someone could point me in the right direction for where i could possibly aquire some seeds i would be very grateful. I would be very willing to pay for the seed as i would very appreciative of the help and time given.
Am I right in saying I should be looking to grow seed found locally, grown in the uk? Or would anywhere else be ok?
Many thanks,

Hi PB, welcome. Another grower from the UK, Phil Dance, who lives in Coventry will be able to help you out. He is here in Nova Scotia on vacation right now. A bunch of us met last week and Phil has more seeds not including the ones from his own this year. I'm sure more folks from Big Pumpkins as well as other European growers will chime in as well.
