I usually send a SABP to Canada using two 37 cent stamps. I put $2 in with it to cover postage to send it back.

Mike,
First you take a shot at Al. Now your turning it into a Canada USA thing. What next? Grow up. Lets all just ignore his comments because its obvious that he gets off on our responses, we are dealing with a mind of a child here.

Jeff, It cost me .85 to send a 6x10 bubble pack in a 9x12 clasp type envelope. The post office also likes air mail stickers on both sides of the clasp envelope. I found it easier to just take it to the post office. They gave me the air mail stickers for free so it makes it easy to do them at home and take them there for postage. 2 bucks will get it back to you. Ken

Easy guys. I really think he was just kidding. Everyone, including me, hates the non-growing months and gets testy. What does ROFL mean?

I'm sure he was just kidding around. I know for a fact, Andrew sent me a couple seeds last year (thanks Andrew) for the mere price of postage. Nobody should assume anything about someone unless they know know the whole situation and everything involved. Let's just enjoy the sport and the people involved.

Peace on the Earth to the good will people....... (I tried to translate from spanish, but I don't know if I did it well. Hmmm). I know (jm, jm) the danger of making some strange jokes. We all are human and "Errare humanum est". Let us compost more manure.

HOLD UP!!!!! I mean no harm towards Canadians!!! WOW It was a joke. I thought it a way to lighten the air a little. I really am considering staying away from here for the off season. Im sure your remark about me being childish was in the heat of anger and ill disregard it as I WANT to be friends with everyone, even CANADIANS. Sorry if i angered you, I don't recall any of my posts being childish, I really think i have presented myself here (BP .COM) in a fair and decent way. I guess i was wrong in asking a question about How much $ was required to get seeds from Canada? I didn't make that thread into what it became!!!!!???? SORRY, Mike

One more thing,
Drew, I don't recall taking a shot at Al. I remember saying I had no problem with the way he handled his business. I realise that had become a touchy subject and understand why it upsets you. I really wish the full weight of this did not land on my shoulders. To be honest, many Canadian growers have always been great to me. Bill VanIderstine is a perfect example. He replied to any and MANY questions I ran past him this last summer. Offered to send me seeds all the time, and is sending me some as we speek WITHOUT postage or even a pack on my part...a great guy. Drew, look at your records, I believe you should have a bubble pack from me....you offered seeds to me free! Im sorry that my bad humor came out wrong or at a bad time with high tensions over a subject that was beat to death. Please forgive and hopefully we can all move on as friends, one big group of pumpkin geeks! Anyone else with me? Respectfully, Mike Frantz

Mike, you said a nice words. Is sad those misunderstandings happen, but we all are humans, and the smart way is let us keeping the friendly harmony I found in AGP Growers World at the usual top level. I never found a group of people in any kind of sport, hobby or business (of course not in business) with so huge will to help one each others in every detail, with advices, seeds, hospitality as I found here. I know some growers personally and many in the webb, and really they are very nice people indeed, americans, australians, newzealanders, british, germans, italians and spanish as well. You are "un tio guay" as we say in Spain, Mike, hang in there. Don

Mike,
I read your post again and can see the humour in it. I jumped the gun and made you the scapegoat and I am sorry for that. I guess I am getting cabin fever being off work. Lets just put this whole subject behind us and as for your bubblepack it was put in the mail last week (with seeds). lol

Up until I started hanging out at this site I don't think I knew any Canadians. I guess I was pretty indifferent to Canada in general just as I am to most other countries. Now I think that the vast majority of Canadians on this site are fine people and I'm glad to know them. Heck, the only people that hang around here that I don't like are some of the Americans:)
