Whoa brett looking for like all of the top seeds. 1041 and 1450. Now all you need is a 985 and your all set for 2009. Your going for the world record. Right? Good luck in 09! sorry I don't have any of the seeds. Been looking for alot of them myself. Hope you find them!!!!

Yep, I have not been as active in acquiring multiples of seeds the past few years and find myself on the short end of the stick on these new good seeds. Pumpkin growing isn't the same as it was 10 years ago. More growers equals more distribution of good seeds. It is not possible to get 10 of any one hot seed any more. About the time you learn what a certain seed stock likes, you are out of seeds.
Oh well, I keep trying....

You too Autumn Red, but sell yourself short. If you grow a 1207 and get a personal best, that is every bit as good as my personal best. Have faith, not everyone on here is out to bash. With very few exceptions, behind the scenes is a core group of growers who rarely post messages but answer requests none the less. The silent minority watches and helps the new growers who are here to grow pumpkins and lets the more voictrous ones take care of the riff raff that makes its way on to this great website.

Remember, I was once a first year grower. Also, for a grower like Don or any heavy hitter, there is definate satisfation when someone writes you at the end of the season and says "I grew my personal best from your seed" The little seed pack may only say 334 So and so, it was still their best effort and they were proud of it.

Dang, I should probably go ahead and suck it up and grow again next year, Brett. Seems that I have most of the seeds you're looking for. But only one of each, and I imagine that you already have at least one of each by now, too! Good luck with the hunt and growing. I'm guessing that your biggest one in 2009 will be off one of your own, though. Maybe that 1348. What a beaut.
