This seed give away is intended for, but not limited to newer growers. Over the years I have accumulated more seeds than I have room for in my patch. I need to down size this seed list, so I will give these away to anyone who wants them for the price of a SASBE(self addressed stamped bubble envelope)

Thats pretty rightous of you Ron. If only I had more space... Like you say there is no way you could plant all those in your lifetime and you can spread the love of the hobby with them. I'd repost this again when it starts to get buried down in the page for future browsers thinking of growing. Keep the sport alive!

hi ron. my name is anne. i'm going to try to grow a big pumpkin for the first time this year. in the process of tilling up and putting manure in a 30"x40' plot. don't really have an idea how many pumpkins i could try to grow in that area. also i live in san diego and don't know if i should look for seeds that are more successful regionally?? would love to send you a bubble pack and let you throw in what you think might work/ thanks/anne

Anne, email me at rdhoffman@wyoming.com and I'll send you my mailing address. I'd be happy to send your bubble pack back to you with an assortment of seeds. I'm thinking for your first year you could try 4 plants to gain some experience, and then maybe cut back to 3 plants next year.

Eastern Washington

Ron, I am planning on growing giants this year for the first time.I am hoping to start a giant pumpkin growers group for here in Eastern Washington. We have several neighbors interested in trying to grow giants, and we have had success growing Howens and other field pumpkins. Any seeds would be great.

I drew names for seeds this morning, but won't be able to contact everyone by email until after work tonight.

The available seed list was updated, and there are plenty of seeds left on a first come, firt serve basis.
