Thank you, I will check out the sedoutlet.

Ron, I seen you grew some big Cinderellas a couple years back (71 and 55lbs) Where those just off of standard Cinderella seeds?

I seen you recrossed the 183 Bosworth with the 1018 vanhook last year, do you think this generation will still have the Cinderella shape to it or will it be bred out of the genetics?

Thanks

The Cinderellas were grown from seed from Henry Field.
The 55 and 71 both grow cinderella shaped pumpkins in the 100 to 200 lb. range
So have selfs from 55 and 71.
The 183 Bosworth grew definite wheels for me while another grower was able to get a 750 est orange more AG shaped one from the 183. So the 183 is less predictable but has more size potential.
I'll re-post some of the progeny from the 55 & 71 in my diary.

Ron, Wowsers... Very detailed. Thank you for that information!

I don't really have any prime spots left to grow, but I do have some area to let some plants go wild. I was planning on growing some Cinderellas and crossing them with one of my big orange AG seeds I plan on growing. I was also thinking of picking up one of your seeds either the 55 or 71 and crossing the Cinderella back into them or maybee even the 183 Bosworth and crossing the Cinderella back into that.

Thanks again for the info.

I Really like the shape and color of the Cinderellas, but I would like to see how big they can get looking like that.

Now that the 183 been grown twice, one seeds progeny being small and the other quite large I think the 183 is an interesting seed to see inheritance patterns. A 183 x Cinderella cross might bring more stability to the offsprings shape while adding more size potential.
Maybe fairly consistent 200-300lb cinderella like progeny ? If I were to cross cinderella with AG again I would use the 1420 LaRue because it grew the 1332 Werner.

Ron, I grew your 107 Rahe (07)(71xsib) this past season. I had 2 pumpkins on the plant. Both were short and stocky like a cinderella and very orange. Both p-kins estimated @150lbs each.
