Hi fellow growers. I am looking for some free giant seed to share with my students. Last year there were not too many of them that fared too well. But..... I will have many interested youth again this year. I would like some seeds from a fellow Canadian, as I have found it way too difficult getting SASE back from the US. Is there anyone who can help me out please. Patrick e-mail patrick.horvath@horizon.ab.ca aka(420pumpkinhunter)

You could visit the GVGO site (www.gvgo.ca) There is an email link there where you can ask for some seeds. Pete

I thought there was only 1 teacher in Taber crazy enough to influence his students to grow giant pumpkins...well he is a band teacher and they tend to be a little off anyways.
Pat, I could send you a bunch from previous GVGO giveaways and from pumpkins that our group have grown.
Let me know/Glenn

A little off? I teach band and grow giant pumpkins. "A little off" is an understatement. Just ask my students and my kids!

Wow I've had such tremendous feedback from you all. Thank you. I have some growers sending me seeds through the mail already and others asking for an e-mail address. I've got guys sending me e-mails and sending advice and other web sites to try. It's been more than I hoped for. Oh ya and I do know that Alan/Saxamaphone/band teacher here in Taber. A great guy, always willing to share his expertise. A little off..... to say the least..... but aren't we all, eh Al? Giant Pumpkin growers..... get a life right?

Glen, I'm looking forward to that big envelope of seeds. It is just about time to get those students interested and starting to plant. Some of them are more interested in my hockey pool but maybe I can expand their horizons into giant pumpkins too. Thanks for the help. Patrick
