Hey people, Brian Fawcett here in South Carolina. I am in desparate need of a 772 Poirier! As many of you know, I searched this off-season for a backup, to no avail. As luck would have it, upon opening my 772 package, received from George several years ago, the seed was cracked and not a good crack at that. Long story short, as all my other seeds germinated around it, the 772 sat lifeless. Evidently, the embryo had also been injured in what ever had led to the extenal seed split.
I perform many, many crosses each year. This 772 was to be a major pollen contributer, hence my pursuit throughout the off-season to acquire a backup.
I am in search of any 772 that is not seeing dirt this year! I have several seeds to trade. Please help. Thanks, BF

Do you know anyone that is growing one this year ? -- If you can't find a seed since you were wanting it as a pollinator maybe someone that is growing one could overnight you some male flowers at the right time.

Great idea JDFan! Hey Snake Oil..I am growing a 772 Poirier this year and if it is possible to send male flowers through the mail I would be more than willing to give it a try! Sorry I do not have another seed but if I can help in any way just let me know!
