This a excellent back up seed, same cross as the 1161Rodonis, I have had to use back up seeds before. The other seeds have the 1354checkon in them, the 1354 grew into the 2nd biggest pumpkin size wise. I want to cross that into the 800Henken (689Beauchemin x 1375.5Liggett) the 1375.5Liggett grew the largest size wise. 689Beauchemin is 5th generation 898Knauss, I wanto cross that into my own 110Brouillard (225Brouillard x 750Mudd) a 898Knauss remake x opposite 898Knauss cross. My genetics project.

The seed will have 5 generatons of 898Knauss, a 898 knauss remake, the opposite cross of a 898Knauss, the 2 largest pumpkins ever grown. If you look threw the heaviest pumpkins at aggc.org in the family tree almost every one has 898Knauss in it, often more than once.

The Barenie is for back up, same cross as the 1161. I decided not to put more 1375.5 into it butt to add 1354Checkon. The other seeds I asked for have the 1354 in them. I want more than one if I have pollination problems.

Dang right, we should just hold a ho down, he haw texas death match, form a circle of us Giant pumpkin growers, Jed gets in there and whips any of these doubters butt, I'm basically asking for seeds that will never be grown (what, did the 1354Checkon craze go out 5 years ago?), not like I got a gun and demanding all the 1068wallace seeds there are or any 1385's. Joking of course.

Hey Richard
looking for something with a lot of Knauss in it & heavy? Look at the 1080.6 Hunt (1678 Hunt x 898 Knauss + 15%). There is 3 generations of Knauss in it, only crossed every other year, starting off with the 1068 Wallace seed (845 x 898). The 1678 was heavy too. In our opinion, this is OUR best cross for 2011. We'll grow it in 2011 & see what it can do. Email me if your interested.
