Caceres, mid west of Spain

Well, friends, I would like to try with giant cantaloupes as well next year. Anybody has a dozen seeds from a big one to share with me? And which could be the current Record?

Hi Carlos,
I have 6 seeds from a 26.5lbs cantaloupe from Lowell Hatten and 8 seeds from a 32.5lbs cantaloupe from Mark Shymanski. They were sent to me along with some AG seeds that I requested last year. Normally our German weather is too cold to grow melons and so I didn't plant them. However I think they would have done well with this exceptionally hot summer this year...
So, if you can't get enough seeds from melon growers I will be able to send you a few of the seeds described above.
If you won't need them I might give them a try next year but then - as luck would have it (Murphy's Law)- our weather will probably be too cold again...
