Well it's not quite that time of year, however I have hundreds of seeds up for trade or to give away to new growers.
Last year I attempted to start a pumpkin association in my area and obtained hundreds of seeds from growers however the response was low and I since scrapped the idea.
So my new idea is to start up a Seed Repository where any one in the world can obtain seeds. Something like a Seed Trader. You can send in your seeds either from your stock or Giants to help out plus this would save you time and money, simply refer request to the site for people looking for your seed, you send them in bulk I'll re-package and ship them. The site will be two fold, Give away seed where people can obtain free seed donated from growers like on the BP website and trade seeds whether from trades with me or others, I'll put up a traders comments area so every one knows what others are like to trade with etc.
So many ideas,
send any ideas or comments you have...
Plus any cost, website, packaging, shipping will be covered from a spring seed auction any extra from myself. Seeds will always be offered for trade or giveaway never for sale even after the pvp expires.
for now though if you are looking for seeds check out my updated list http://www.members.shaw.ca/giantveggies/seeds.html

I, too, have offered up free seeds to anyone who asks in my area, in an effort to get a community of growers established in Montana. I've been tapped out twice this year and have told folks they'll have to wait for next years stock. I don't pretend to have any of the highly coveted seeds. Most of these growers are first timers and are impressed with their fruits with little effort exerted. Once they're hooked they can seek out more favorable seed if desired. It has been great fun and I know our giant pumpkin population has more than doubled this year. I'm forever groveling for anyone's no-name seeds, bulk is better, so I can continue to infect the hobby growers here. Is this something you could help me with? Anyone else out there have viable seeds to give up for this cause? Please, and thank you, in advance. KT
