BTW, a handful of seeds doesn´t need to be a bad thing...a big hand (like mine) full of small seeds like the 1495 Stelts wouldn´t look too bad, I suppose ;-)

Benny, I thought I had read about that somewhere (either here on BP or in one of the newspaper articles) that the pumpkin should be on display a week here, a week there...and maybe a couple days longer...
Yes, I know what you want to point at, and YES, I would leave this pumpkin on display for many many weeks...as long as it isn´t in front of my home and as long as others would then be in charge of looking after and removing the pumpkin soup ;-)

Owen, have checked the recent CG entries and found the pics of the desperate search for seeds...it´s a pity for all those who wanted to plant this seed, and it´s a blessing for those who couldn´t quite decide if they should plug a 2009 or a Meier-monster next year.

Its still on display. On sunday Beni controlled the split and discover a bit blue-grey mmold inside, so he cut a hole in the bottom end and take the guts with him.
